If you're able to create PDFs from Indd, and the document is not too complex, you may well be better to try and open the Qxd file in Indd, do a little fixing and export it from there. No wonder you're having difficulty creating a PDF, you're asking about grass-roots info starting with 'how to create a postscript file'. If we (everyone else help here please) give you basic points, let us know if you need a detailed step-by-step plan; It depends on what printer PPD your using as to how your PDF will be made, a mono-only printer will only create a mono image.
