ok - how did you create a composite pdf from quack containing dcs2 files? without third party software... question - why would you create a pdf, then postscript - then distill another pdf? there's no production reason - that i know of - to do that at all - and no logical reason. you effectively create a 2nd generation file by the re-fry. if you have downsampling options then after that re-downsampling then of course there will be differences. ok so nothing you've seen has proven anything to you - but have you actually seen a rip/workflow with the pdf print engine in action? personally i havent but am... - Read More at This Link..
