when you export you get lots of options - look into tweaking those - it's a colour management issue so take a peek there pdfx1a may be ok for you if you are placing the files into quark <why ohh why> be mindful of flattened transparencies. if they are going into indesign cs3 - you do not need to pdf them - you can "place" indesign files (your adverts) in the same way as placing grapics (images) within your indesign file further to that you can select SEVERAL "indesign" files (or graphics etc) at one time and place them throughout your publication - without having to do it one at a time (beat that quark... - Read More at This Link..
