hi and apologies for the very very late reply!! as soon as you export anything like an eps or tiff etc it flattens and rasterizes transparent areas - like drop shadows. so - when its rasterized it gets the background as you said you can try clipping areas as best possible, and in the raster effects ensure the correct setting are applied relevant to your needs, but i'll hark back to ai files where possible i think this all depends on where your logo's go really - if they head to indy then all will be fine if they head towards quark i'd maybe have a rethink, as it doesnt play with transparency well. if ... - Read More at This Link..
